Excellent place to stay. Loved the hot tub.
Excellent property. Quiet. Jessica the manager even went out of her way to return property left behind. 5 out of 5
Cute, but small cabin. Needed full mirror, first aid kit, paper and pen for notes and feedback, handbook of rules, lots of mud when rainy. Neighbors verbally attacked us and confronted and threatened us with large walking stick. Threatened to call Police. Home owners off this road very aggressive towards VRBO due to hatred of this property being a rental. I will not recommend to anyone because of this. Otherwise enjoyable visit.
This is a lovely, well equipped home, cozy and comfortable. We came to visit Fallingwater, which is just 20 minutes away. The location is a little remote, and we lost GPS frequently. Fortunately, we’d seen in a review that this was the case, and had printed directions at home- and were so glad we did! This host requires all communication be via email, which we found cumbersome. The ability to text would have been very helpful. All in all, though, we very much enjoyed our stay in this charming home!
My friends and I stayed here when we went to Seven Springs and it was the perfect place! The house is exactly as pictured if not better and it was very clean. Check in and check out was very easy and hosts communicated properly what was needed. It is small but there was plenty of seating and we all felt very cozy (Honestly the small size helped because it was very cold and the house heats up quick). There were a few spiders in different rooms of the house but that’s a given based on the location. Also if you want more privacy i’d suggest going when there are more leaves on the trees because neighbors were closer than expected. Overall wonderful experience and will be back!
We stayed here the night before our tour. The cabin is lovely, clean, great hot tub…. Owner was very helpful in recommending places to eat.
We had a wonderful time at Buckshot Cabin. The rooms were cozy and the bed was so comfortable. So was the couch. The day we got there, we didn't realize that we were so close to neighbors. There were two houses each with dogs barking and one neighbor was grinding metal, not what I was expecting for a quiet getaway. But the neighbors did leave during the week and remained quiet when present. We didn't feel uncomfortable with their close proximity of the cabin and they kept to themselves. The hot tub is on the same side as the neighbors, so no privacy there. No further issue with the cabin. Wifi worked as long as you were in the cabin or on the porch. No cell service so be sure to get map directions before leaving the cabin. The kitchen had lots of supplies and everything was very clean. The smart TV was easy to setup our Apple TV that we brought with us. The nights were chilly but the furnace was on and lots of blankets to keep warm. The place was very clean and smelled nice. The fire pit area is so nice and welcoming. The people took great care in design and comfort. The chairs are not Adirondack so they are easy to get out of. Lots of wood and a pile of kindling too, along with mountain pies and a lighter. We did not use the grill, but it was clean too. We liked the hot tub and it was clean with a heavy chlorine scent. I would come back and recommend this place. Great communication, no issues.
Great little cabin. We had 5 adults. Very nicely furnished, comfy beds. Be sure to take food with you for your stay as it is a bit remote and a 30 mile drive to a grocery store. But the setting is wonderful, peaceful.
Great stay. Very clean. Thoughtful touches. Great fire pit. We would go back. Convenient to all the area attractions.
A cute little cabin in the woods. I wish we were able to stay longer to enjoey all of the fun things to do in the area, but the cabin was beautiful and clean. Honestly the pictures online do not do it justice!
The cabin is an A+. Very clean. Comfy beds and furniture. Front porch with rocking chairs for relaxing mornings sipping coffee. Wonderful hot tub and fire pit area. The cabin is private but is fairly close to a couple houses. So, there isn’t a lot of exploring to do at the cabin, but we did enjoy hiking Ohiopyle state park (15 min drive). Overall, a great stay.
The house was beautiful and the property is close to town for needs but not too close to neighbors. We enjoyed the hot tub for the cool evenings. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for the few things we made there.
nice and very clean
The cabin was very clean, updated and cozy. The fire pit and hot tub were the perfect addition to our getaway. Our dog loved the yard.
The American flag is torn and shabby looking. As an Army veteran , I find this appalling. The neighbor on the top of the hill is rude. He feels he can come and go the property without permission. The next door neighbors are quiet and keep to themselves. Over allit is a nice place to stay.Over Over all not a bada
Took my girlfriend here, as a romantic, birthday getaway. we had a great time, it was quiet, clean, relaxing. Thinking about a trip back next year. 10/10 highly recommended.
Clean, comfy and perfect for what we needed. My only suggestion was due to being very rural I had a tough time locating it because GPS didn't work. Maybe print directions just in case!
We are frequent VRBO users and I get very nervous when there are not very many reviews, which is why I feel the need to give one on this property. We wanted a cute little cabin for our family to stay at so we could go to Ohiopyle for Fathers day. This property was very cute, well maintained and had everything we needed (even a frother). We loved sitting around the fire-pit (with plenty of provided wood) and enjoying the hot tub with a peaceful view. It was a great two days!
Loved the cabin, amenities were first rate and beds super comfortable. It was very quiet, private, perfect for a romantic weekend!
We enjoyed our stay. Nice place to unwind & relax. Place nicely stock and clean, as described. We loved the hot tub and a few evenings by a fire. It rained a lot during our stay but it was peaceful.
