Forest Creek Lodge stands as an opulent cabin nestled within the scenic beauty of the Laurel Highlands. Situated just minutes away from Yough Lake Marina and a mere 20-minute drive from Ohiopyle State Park, this luxurious retreat offers an enchanting woodland backdrop overlooking a serene creek in a tranquil and peaceful locale. The main living area boasts the warmth of a wood-burning fireplace, while the kitchen gleams with modernity featuring stainless steel appliances. For families with children, a dedicated playroom keeps the young ones entertained. Every bedroom is equipped with its own television, and all linens and towels are thoughtfully provided, eliminating any need for concern. Even firewood is included to enhance your stay. The fully equipped kitchen encompasses all essential culinary tools, from pots and pans to dinnerware. The array includes a drip coffee pot, toaster, microwave, gas range with oven, and an assortment of glassware, including wine and shot glasses. Younger family members are not forgotten with their own dinnerware and utensils, and even a blender and crockpot are at your disposal. The first floor houses two bedrooms. The first bedroom presents a Queen bed and a fold-out full-size futon, while the second bedroom offers two twin beds. Firewood is provided; personal supply is unnecessary. 3. Recycling guidelines are in place for glass, aluminum, and plastic bottles/containers. Items such as plastic bags and paper products are not suitable for recycling. 4. The natural surroundings teem with wildlife like bears, deer, squirrels, chipmunks, snakes, and mice. Although efforts are made to prevent their entry, the occasional critter might find its way indoors. Refunds are not applicable in such cases. Swimming Pool and Hot Tub Policies: When reserving a property with a swimming pool or hot tub, guests acknowledge the release of Vacation Ohiopyle, Alpine Property Rentals LLC, and property owners from any claims or risks associated with their usage. It's important to note that the availability of these amenities cannot be guaranteed at every check-in. While swift repairs are sought, same-day service might not be feasible. Given that these amenities are part of every stay, refunds will not be granted for temporary outages or service interruptions. *Weather Related Policies* Roads are routinely plowed, however, please remember that winter recreation is dependent on snowfall and you must be prepared with 4 wheel drive, snow tires or chains. Cancellations due to weather are not refundable. **Important Booking Information** To help us prepare for your stay, all guests are required to complete a short pre-arrival registration, regardless of the platform used to make the reservation. This may include a rental agreement, vehicle registration, and pet registration (if bringing pets). This an awesome home everything you need had a great weekend

First impression was very good. Location was a bit out of the way for what we needed but overall enjoyed the experience. Had a wedding nearby and to go back and forth on the unpaved road was a bit unanticipated. The cabin itself was beautiful, needed a little extra cleaning as some items were quite dusty. Jacuzzi tub in primary bathroom was gross as bugs came from the jets when turned on. A few electrical things didn't work, lights above said tub. But if looking for an out of the way place, this is definitely for the renting.

Forest Creek House Manual Check in is 4pm and check out is 10am. Check in and out times are strict due to the permitted use of the property. Occupancy is strictly enforced. All persons including children shall not exceed 10 total. This includes those “just visiting for the day”. Please remove shoes upon entering home. No Smoking inside the house. This includes smoking out of windows. No food or drink, with the exception of water, is permitted in the Cub’s Den play room. Quiet time 10pm-7am. This includes playing music outside. Extra bed sheets are available in the bedroom closets if needed. You are responsible for washing and returning them to the closet before departure. Futon sheets can be found in the closet of the room you are staying in. They are the only sheets with a print. All other sheets are solid colors. Sheet colors according to room: Second Floor Master King Bed = Gray Sheets First Floor Queen Bed = Red Sheets First Floor Twin Beds = Navy Sheets Second Floor Loft Pullout Couch = Tan Sheets (located in master bath closet) Futons = sheets with pattern Fireplace Guidelines: - Use at your own risk - Damper located inside fireplace on top left side, must be open prior to lighting a fire. Push up on the handle to open - Never leave fire unattended - Make sure fire is completely out before going to bed or leaving the house. - Firewood is located outside underneath the porch facing the driveway. Check Out Instructions - Please place all dirty dishes in the dishwasher and turn it on. Don’t forget the coffee pot! - Place all towels in the washer and turn it on. Soap is provided. - Take all trash to the end of the driveway and place in provided bin. - Remove food from the refrigerator and double check in drawers and under beds for personal belongings. The most common forgotten items are phone chargers, Sun glasses and socks! - Lock all doors and windows We strive to provide clean, comfortable accommodations to make your stay enjoyable. Please report any dissatisfaction with the property immediately upon check in. This area is dependent on winter recreation and guests should be prepared with an appropriate vehicle for conditions. Refunds will not be given for weather related cancellations. Check out times will not change due to weather. Like most hosts, we have full time jobs and children so we request that unless there is an emergency, please refrain from communication between 9pm and 7am. Enjoy your stay! You understand the risks discussed above and agree that you will assume all responsibility for yourself and for the consequences of those in your party. You agree to waive any claim whatsoever against owner for accidents or claims arising from swimming, hiking, and use of the streams and creeks on the property. All Airbnb Guests in my party acknowledge and agree that they have read and understand this waiver and they acknowledge that confirming below constitutes a binding and enforceable contract between Airbnb Guests and Airbnb Host. Campfires: Campfires must remain inside the fire ring, flames within reason above fire ring (NOT higher then 3 ft.). Noise: Please be considerate of our neighbors. Quiet hours are from 10:00pm until 7:00am. Children: The property is unsupervised. Children under the age of sixteen (16) must be always supervised by a responsible adult.
